All is set for ‘the Temptations’ to hit Malawi in a Live Concert

The legendary and internationally acclaimed American vocal group ‘The Temptations’ is expected to storm Malawi in a live concert at Bingu International Convention Center (BICC).

According to the concert organizers Africa Global Travel and Tours the event which is scheduled to be held on 31st August 2019, will be first of its kind to happen in Malawi and people should anticipate the most memorable event.
The Concert Publicity Secretary Mphatso Chauluka said the grouping is expected to land in the country on 29th August, through Kamuzu International Airport.

He said that the concert will still take place on the said dates, despite political tension which has put most activities in the country at standstill.

Chauluka further urged Malawian fans to turn up in large numbers as the gig will strictly be performed live and authentic music will be delivered by the enormous vocal grouping

“The guys will arrive on the 29th August in Malawi. They will be in South Africa by 27th. The political situation is something we cannot comment on. We are entertainers, we just hope it will not disturb anything,” said Chauluka

He promised that the multi award winning band will perform all people’s favorite classic songs from 70s, 80s and 90s including ‘My Girl’, ‘The Way You Do Things You Do’, ‘I Wish It Would Rain’ and ‘A’int Too Proud To Beg’

The Temptation are an American vocal group from Michigan, America, formed in 1960 and are predominantly known for their success with Motown records in the 60s and 70s.
The grouping has sold over 160 million albums, released over 14 number one RnB singles on billboard charts, and received numerous grammy awards.

According to the organizers, consisting of five male vocalists and dancers the Temptations will be supported by Patience Namadingo.

Tickets for the concert are being sold KIPS ShopRite in Blantyre and in Lilongwe at BICC, Gateway Mall, Jacaranda and Area 10 Cafe.
