AU Calls Malawi to Resolve E Post _ Elections Disputes

The African Union Commission has called on all political actors in Malawi to maintain the prevailing positive climate inorder to consolidate the peace gains, and to resolve any post_ elections disputes through peaceful means.
The chairperson of the African Union Commission Moussa Faki Mahamat is wishing to reaffirm the position of the Commission, following the interim statement of African Union Observers mission made on 23 May, 2019 by His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, president of the Republic of Ghana.
The African Union Observers mission and various other international and domestic observer groups have testified to the peaceful nature of the Tripartite Elections held on 21 May, 2019.
However, reports circulating on the social media are indicating that only Mec is attempting today that rigging of the 2019 presidential elections took place.
The report says Dr. Jane Ansah sc is simply trying to protect herself because she actually committed the most indictable fraud herself.
According to the report, during its routine updates when 75% of the votes were counted, DPP had 1.4 million votes, MCP 1.2 million while UTM had 600,000 votes.
Soon after the court injunction was lifted, the results were made ready at 100% which Mec gave the final results putting DPP with 1.9 million lvotes, which is 1.4 million plus 500,000, MCP 1.7 million votes, 1.2 million plus 500,000 and UTM 1.1 million votes, 600,000 plus 500,000.
The report says Dr. Jane Ansah sc deserve an arrest when this fraud is fixed asking Mec to clarify on how it arrived at the remaining votes the three contestants scored uniformly 500,000 each.
