Dan Dzimkambani has succeeded Christopher Nyambose as Karonga United head coach on a one-year deal, the club announced on Wednesday.
The former Sharma FC and Silver Strikers coach arrives at the club after spending close to six years without a top flight club.
During his time as Silver Strikers coach, Dzimkambani helped the team to win TNM Super League, but his stay was not extended at the club.
Karonga United Patron Aloufeous Chipanga, believes they have got in Dzimkambani an experienced tactician who produces sides playing exciting football with his one and half years at Silver harvesting one league title in Super League.
The TNM Super League Survival didn’t save Christopher Nyambose to be shown an exit door as he was dismissed after guided Ingwina Shaku Karonga to the top eight finish.
His days were numbered after he fell out with the supporters and senior players.
Karonga United finished on position seven in the 2018 TNM Super League season and book a place in the 2019 Airtel Top8.
