Bester Phiri was in fine form as the goalkeeper helped Masters Security FC secure a 1-1 draw with Kamuzu Barracks on Wednesday afternoon.
The experienced goalkeeper made five saves to denie second placed Kamuzu Barracks from collecting maximum points .
Allion Tchefu opened the score line in the 17th minute as he connected a ball from Sammy Phiri before Ndaona Daisi equalized in the second half.
But it was Phiri who was voted mañ of the match despite letting in a goal.
The former Be forward Wanderers shot stopper denied captain Manase Chiyesa and Ndaona Daisi efforts in the first half before making a remarkable three saves from close range in the second half.
Bester joined Master Security from Mighty Be forward Wanderers as a free agent three seasons ago after falling out of favour under Yasin Osman.
Last season his heroics helped The Kaondo outfit to win Calseberg Cup as they beat Wanderers in the final and he was voted Best goalkeeper of the tournament.
