Nyasa Big Bullets FC have announced that they have parted ways with fan favourite defender Emmanuel Zoya after three years with the club.
The 28-year-old fullback joined the ndirande outfit from Civo Sporting Club in 2017 for K4million and emerged as one of their most influential players on the pitch.
The towering defender won Carlsberg Cup, TNM Super League and two Charity Shields with Nyasa Big Bullets and scored 7 league goals when he won the best defender award back in 2017 season.
Zoya was sidelined for the most part of 2018 season with an ankle injury and the champions have decided against handing him a new deal.
Confirming the exits of Zoya on Monday, Bullets Chief Executive Officer, Fleetwood Haiya told www.smashmw.com, “Zoya is a good player but he’s not in the plans of our technical panal so we decided to release him”
“We have managed to sign Sambani from Namiwawa and Fodya is available so i think We are safe on that position.
We wish him(Zoya) well for the future and thank him for his contributions to our club” said Haiya.
