Fans Slams Silver Management over Pitch Condition

Silver Strikers has become the first club to return to training after the presidential task force on covid19 gave Super League clubs go ahead to start preparations for 2020/21 season today, 17th October.

Government suspended sports for the past six months as one way of curbing the spread of corona virus pandemic.

Silver announced yesterday through its website that the team will resume training today after finalizing Covid tests.

After their first training, the team posted some images of their players on their official page. Fans were unimpressed with the condition of the pitch and they did not hide their disappointment.

One supporter couldn’t hide his reaction, “Don’t you have lawn mower to mow that grass” he asked.

“atleast mutchetcheko udzuwo pa pitch po pliz “, was the advise a second fan gave to the authorities.

And another one commented “mutchiremo? Olo boot osaoneka, tatchetchani udzuwo.”

Fans not impressed with pitch condition

Despite the bumpy and unshaved pitch fans were happy with the full squad that were present at the Silver Stadium.

Some notable faces that were spotted included captain Chimodzi jnr., Mikel Teteh, Brighton Munthali, Travor Kalema, Misheck Malaisha just to mention a few.
