Human Rights Defenders Coalition(HRDC) has postponed demonstrations slated to commence tomorrow.
HRDC chairperson, Timothy Mtambo, and his vice, Gift Trapence, say this is in respect to the Supreme Court of Appeal order.
The two, however say they will not let Malawians down as such they will set new dates outside the 14 days given by the court for negotiations and the dates will be announced later.
Hours ago, and The Supreme Court of Appeal has granted a 14-day moratorium against demonstrations in Malawi.
HRDC is continuing with its series of nationwide protests to force Malawi Electoral Commission (MEC) chairperson Justice Jane Ansah to resign for presiding over flawed May 21 Tripartite Elections which saw President Peter Mutharika re-elected.
