Governance says they have cancelled their planned demonstrations they intended to carry-on across the country.
Addressing the media at the press conference held Saturday afternoon in Lilongwe, Philip Kamangira, who is the spokesperson for the grouping, says they are to hold peaceful vigils in seven (7) districts across the Country on dates to be announced on Wednesday next week in order to preach peace in the country.
Kamangaira further attacked Human Rights Defenders Coalition as well as MCP and UTM for organizing Anti-Jane Ansah demonstrations saying HRDC and opposition parties simply want to bring anarchy and civil unrest in the country through their planned Airport and borders shutdown vigils.
Speaking at the same press briefing, the group’s Chairperson Bright Kampaundi says HRDC members are duping the citizenry to protest while they are accumulating wealth from their funders.
One of the members of the grouping Fryson Chodzi sarcastically underrated the petrol bombings which are happening targeting government critics across the country saying they leave alot to be desired as they seem to be self made petro bombs.
Meanwhile JCSPG continue calling for peace and respect for the rule of law as they have observed with great shock as to how some quarters in the country have chosen to depart away from of peace building.
