Nyasa Big Bullets coach Kalisto Pasuwa has revealed his side will make a late check on the fitness of Gomezgani Chirwa before Sunday’s clash against Mighty Wanderers. The star defender missed midweek 1-1 draw against Mafco due to illness and he faces a race against time to be fit for the Sunday’s Blantyre derby. Pasuwa, speaking ahead of the home match against Wanderers, said of his side’s preparations: “So far so good we have been trying to manage the boys as you know we played on Wednesday, we have been dealing with the recovery part of it and we had some of the guys Who were not around like Gomezgani Chirwa, as of yesterday they were are still on the medical part of it so we expect the doctors to tell us about late fitness test tomorrow and so far so good each and every position I think we have numbers where we can easily choose in order for us to a strong team when we meet them[Wanderers] on Sunday”The Zimbabwean tactician further highlighted the importance of winning on Sunday and he told his to improve on keeping possession and creating chances in order to get results.”Yeah that’s a game very important to us. So for us to win we need to put work extra hard”. “We are a team that is very confident with the ball but these days we haven’t been good in terms of knocking the ball around and also have movements of creating scoring chances but we have been talking to each other, encouraging each other and it’s up to the boys to apply on the field of play”.
Pasuwa further said he is worried with the way his team has been dropping points while second placed Silver Strikers have been collecting points but he is optimistic that Sunday
