The Board of Directors for the Malawi Communications and Regulatory Authority [MACRA] has appointed Daudi Elvin Suleman as its Director General.
According to Minister of Information, Hon. Gospel Kazako’s official Face book page, Suleman has been offered this appointment after a grueling competitive process of interviews which the Board conducted saying eleven candidates competed for the position.
…’’My Ministry looks forward to working with Mr. Suleman as he leads MACRA in changing the Information Communication Technology [ICT] terrain in this country, congratulations Mr. Suleman,’’…reads Hon. Kazako’s writing on the wall.
Suleman has proved that leadership is not about educational qualifications but ideological senses, among the competitors he met face to face for the same position were Dr. Jonathan Phinifolo and Dr. Andrew Kumbatira.
Congratulatory messages are still pouring in various social media platforms that Suleman deserves the position and there was no need to add competitive process of interviews part, congrats are in older, Mr. Suleman , you deserved it.
But, one of the social media commentators without a name in government has identified an observation demanding answers from the authorities in a Malawi wokomela tonse.
…’’How come that in all the interviews which are being conducted, candidates making it are from the MCP, is it a coincidence or what?…reads the question to the general public.
The commentator says at MBC, there is Mr. George Kasakula , Economist, Henry Kachaje at MERA and to-day they are saying Suleman after ‘’grueling interviews’’ wonders shall never end.
