NBB Resreve Secures First Win But Chikondi Mbeta Gets Injured Again

ThumbsUp Southern Region Football Association League defending Champions Nyasa Big Bullets Reserve have recorded their first win of the season on Sunday with a victory over white Eagles at PTS Ground.
Enos Chatama’s boys lost their opening match 3-2 to FOMO FC at Mulanje Park Stadium fortnight ago.
On Saturday, Lanjesi Nkhoma rescued the young Bullets from a defeat as they drew one all Against Staffords in their second match of the campaign before thrashing White Eagles 4-0 on Sunday with goals from Alex Tsamba, Patrick Mwaungulu, Stainly Billiat and Lanjesi Nkhoma.
“Am delighted with our first victory of the season. It’s a morale boast to us and I hope will continue until the end” said captain Wilton Kaunda jnr
Despite the victory, their new signing Chikondi Mbeta Jnr has suffered another injury setback on his debut for the Peoples Team.
The Striker who joined the club two months ago as one of the replacements for Hassan Kajoke spent three weeks sidelined through injury and now, after playing just one match for the Reserves Against Staffords, the Malawi U20 national player is injured again.
Mbeta believes he will make a comeback very soon. “I am disappointed with this injury. The Technical Panel needs everybody to be fit right now, but the doctor told me that it’s not a major injury I’ll recover very soon”
The talented attacker has joined Defenders Sydney Chabulika and White Kitsen as well as Midfielder Innocent Msowoya on the injury list.
